In the lead up to proposing to his girlfriend Maria Stilin, he worked with oOh! Media to find a billboard that was on route to the the Hunter Valley where he could post a big billboard containing images of family and friends holding the words “W-I-L-L Y-O-U M-A-R-R-Y M-E”. Tim’s the one holding the ?.
As they headed along the F3 for a carefully planned holiday in the Hunter Valley, Tim pulled up in front of the billboard – and popped the question to Ms Stilin, who was one of the winners of the 2012 B&T top 30 Under 30 Awards.
Impressed and completely surprised, Maria accepted his spectacular proposal.
This was such BIG news, oOh! couldn’t help but get the message out-there.
If Tim’s initiative inspires someone else, the billboard creative will remain in situ until the end of the month, should anyone want to make the most of the opportunity to propose.
